George Conrad Westervelt was an U.S. Navy engineer who created the company "Pacific Aero Products Co." together with William Boeing.[1] Westervelt later left the company and Boeing changed the name of the company to the Boeing Airplane Company. George Conrad Westervelt is also the uncle of the famous scientist, Peter Westervelt, Emeritus Professor of Physics at Brown University, who discovered the parametric array. George Conrad Westervelt, was an American with Dutch roots.
